Shinn is one of the unknown soldiers of the midwest rave scene. DJing since his early teens, his visceral, hypnotic sets are inspired by the feeling of utterly losing oneself in the dance. His sound has huge emotive swings – starting from nothing and building to almost unbearable intensity, then pulling back into deeper territory. He draws from his four decade archive — spanning early house and techno up to the most indescribable reaches of bleeding-edge dance music.
